Interfolk was partner in the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships: "Recommendations for international project managers competences recognition and validation for lifelong learning" (VALID), December 2019 – November 2021 (24 months).

The project was due to the Covid-19 pandemic prolonged to October 2022 (34 months). 

FAIE from Poland was applicant and coordinator.

The partnership circle

included five organisations from five EU countries, allactive in the field of lifelong learning:

Need

The project intended to address the little support available for recognition and validation of knowledge, skills and competences of international project managers active in Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in the adult education sector, acquired through formal, non-formal and informal learning.

Objectives

The overall aim was to support recognition and validation of knowledge, skills and competences of international project managers active in Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in the adult education sector, acquired through formal, non-formal and informal learning.

A supporting objective was to develop a new International Support Network that could  support first-time international project managers and their CSOs- with the purpose to strengthen the capacity and innovative methods of these organizations to work internationally. 

Outcome

The planned outcome was to provide better methods to document, validate and profile the qualities of amateur culture for elder people. This can also help to improve the internal quality assurance and succeeding learning activities for elder people as well as strengthen the external promotion to main stakeholders.
